In the wake of the Covid-19 health pandemic, our community partners have continued to serve our community. The Hudson Backpack pivoted to partner with local organizations and the First Presbyterian Church to provide food to young people and families, Operation HELP has increased its capacity to provide rent and utility assistance. And First Presbyterian Church has continued to provide a space for worship by pivoting to online services.
We are so grateful to be part of this wonderful community! We are also thankful for our donor partners. In the midst of this pandemic, St. Croix Electric and Kwik Trip have donated to our organization, allowing us to provide scholarships and additional fuel cards to increase transportation access to young people. While many businesses are being faced with shutting their doors, these two businesses continue to serve our community! This continues to be a very uncertain time for many across our community. We will continue to look for ways to collaborate and best serve our young people and their families. If you would like to donate to support the work we are doing, please reach out to Alyson Sauter ([email protected]) or send a check made payable to Youth Resource Committee to First Presbyterian Church (1901 Vine Street, Hudson, WI 54016). As of 2020, the YRC is a certified 501c3 non-profit, meaning all contributions are tax deductible. As always, thank you for supporting the Youth Resource Community. Stay safe and be well, - The Hudson Area Youth Resource Committee
